Water, Waves, and Suds

For an artist to have a favorite work is tantamount to a mother daring to declare having a favorite child. And when asked, I usually say that my favorite work is my next one. However, the ones that give me most satisfaction are the ones that interpret the water in its own right. In this work, I get closest to my natural abstract tendencies. Where artistic elements such as composition, texture, colour, tone, pattern, etc dominate over mere representation. When I started interpreting the sea years ago, I started with close-ups.
